brodashim The vocals are hypnotic and the mix goes perfect on Porcelain. I've listened to it several times now and each time I have that same feeling of nostalgia. Favorite track: Porcelain.

Benjamin Reichstein Both tracks are just amazing. But the voice on Porcelain is so stunning and hits me right in the heart. Just beautiful, beautiful work. Favorite track: Porcelain.

Stan Derksen Porcelain is just about perfect. Love the uplifting sounds. The vocal melody hits exactly every note it should. Favorite track: Porcelain.

Fei ☁ I adore both tracks with all my heart. Even though the two songs are quite distinctive, they both hold an amazing richness. Smooth and haunting and evocative. Instant favorite. Favorite track: Wolf.

about

B3SCI Records is exited to announce the release of the debut single from Skott.

Having grown up in a forest commune, Skott thrived in an environment run by ‘outcast’ folk musicians. They together built a very small but very supportive community there, quite remotely from anywhere of note. As a result, Skott didn’t actually hear any contemporary music until she went to the city for the first time in her mid teens, despite growing up surrounded by music in this somewhat unorthodox childhood.

As Skott herself says about "Porcelain," "The most precious things take time and care to build, but take only a fraction of that time to destroy or break. Porcelain is about how you can spend limitless time creating something - trust, for example - but you can also let it fall to the ground in a second.”
